Important Information Regarding Bookings, Payments & Event Hire Services
Please Read Before Booking
These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with Photo Booth Cork, a trading brand of The Event Hub. By confirming a booking with Photo Booth Cork, the client acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined below.
These terms are designed to ensure a smooth, professional and reliable service for all clients and events.

Photo Booth Cork
Photo Booth Cork provides photo booth and event entertainment services for weddings, corporate events, private parties and special occasions across Cork and surrounding areas.

Booking Confirmation
Securing Your Event Date
A booking is only considered confirmed once:
- A booking deposit has been received, and
- Written confirmation has been issued by Photo Booth Cork.
Event dates are not reserved without confirmation and payment.
Private Event Bookings
Weddings, Parties & Private Functions
For private event bookings including weddings, birthdays and parties:
Payment Terms:
- A non-refundable booking deposit is required to secure the booking date.
- The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 14 days prior to the event date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Failure to pay the remaining balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking.
Booking Deposits:
Booking deposits are non-refundable as the event date is reserved exclusively for the client once confirmed.
Corporate Event Bookings
Corporate Clients & Business Events
For approved corporate clients, payment terms may differ depending on the nature and scale of the event.
Standard Corporate Terms:
- A booking deposit may be required depending on the event scope.
- Remaining balances are generally payable within 30 days of invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Extended Credit Terms:
Where extended credit terms are approved:
- A 5% booking administration fee may apply for corporate accounts requiring 60–90 day payment terms.
- Overdue invoices may incur interest charges in accordance with applicable legislation.
Photo Booth Cork reserves the right to refuse extended credit terms at its discretion.
Cancellations
Cancellation Policy
Private Clients:
- Booking deposits are non-refundable.
- Cancellations made within 14 days of the event may be subject to full payment charges.
Corporate Clients:
- Cancellation charges may apply depending on equipment allocation, staffing and event preparation costs already incurred.
Any cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.
Venue Access & Setup Requirements
Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for ensuring:
- Adequate access to the venue for setup and pack down.
- Suitable power supply availability.
- Sufficient operating space for the booked equipment.
- Safe and secure operating conditions.
Any delays caused by venue restrictions or inadequate access may affect setup times and service availability.
Equipment Use & Damage
Responsibility During Hire
Clients are responsible for ensuring guests behave appropriately around hired equipment.
Photo Booth Cork reserves the right to:
- Suspend operation where equipment or staff safety is at risk.
- Remove equipment if unsafe or abusive behaviour occurs.
The client may be held responsible for any deliberate or negligent damage caused during the hire period.
Technical Issues & Force Majeure
Unexpected Circumstances
While every effort is made to provide uninterrupted service, Photo Booth Cork shall not be held liable for delays or service interruptions caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including:
- Power failures
- Venue restrictions
- Internet outages
- Severe weather conditions
- Illness or emergencies
- Acts of God or force majeure events
In the unlikely event of equipment failure, we will make reasonable efforts to provide replacement equipment or an alternative solution where possible.
Payment Methods
Accepted Payments
Payments may be accepted via:
- Bank transfer
- Card payment
- Online invoice payment links
Corporate payment arrangements must be agreed in advance.
Changes to Bookings
Amendments & Adjustments
We will always try to accommodate reasonable changes to bookings where possible. However:
- Changes may be subject to availability.
- Additional fees may apply depending on revised requirements.
All requested changes should be submitted in writing.
Acceptance of Terms
Agreement
By confirming a booking with Photo Booth Cork, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
